Pirates Cove Renovation Survey

In order to continue attracting families and to stay competitive with other Denver area water parks, this project aims to modernize Pirates Cove, enhance user experience, and increase operational efficiency. The design process will continue through the spring of 2026 and construction is scheduled to be completed in spring of 2027.

Building on the 2023 Pirates Cove Expansion Study, the renovation will focus on modernizing the west end of the park. Planned upgrades include:

• Replacing the competitive pool with a lounge pool featuring 2–3 lap lanes

• A new pump house to support the pool

• A multi-passenger tube ride with runouts

• Expanded space for cabanas

• A new pavilion with seating for 100–150 guests

These updates will enhance the guest experience, improve sustainability, and create more gathering space for families and friends.
