The City of Englewood adopted its first strategic plan in 2020. In March, 2022, City Council adopted the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan. City Council reviews the plan annually to consider changes, and receives quarterly updates on projects and performance metrics listed in the plan.

Englewood's Strategic Plan is organized into eight "outcome areas," which are broad categories that Council prioritized for improvement. The eight outcome areas are: Safety, Transportation, Infrastructure, Economy, Community Engagement, Community Wellbeing, and Sustainability.

Each outcome area has a set of goals, and each goal has projects and performance metrics related to accomplishing those goals. Project and performance metric updates are collected quarterly, and can be found at the Strategic Plan Project Status Dashboard(External link) and the Strategic Plan Performance Dashboard(External link).
