This email is the eighth in a series of monthly updates regarding the Oxford Ave Pedestrian Bridge Project.
In the last month the project team submitted the plans and specifications package for a final review by the city and CDOT. The project team also continued the process of acquiring the necessary right-of-way for the project.
In the coming month, the city and CDOT will review the plans and specifications in order to provide feedback to the design team. The design team will incorporate comments into the design and will prepare the final plans and specifications package for bidding. Lastly, the team will continue the right-of-way acquisition process.

This email is the seventh in a series of monthly updates regarding the Oxford Ave Pedestrian Bridge Project.
In the last month the project team began the process of acquiring right of way for the project and continued refining the plans and specifications. Also, staff met with City Council on August 23rd to update Council on the design progress and get direction on aesthetic treatments for the project.
In the coming month, the project team will continue the process of acquiring the necessary right of way to build the bridge. Also, the team will be submitting the 90% plans & specifications package for the City and CDOT to review.

The team also developed a drainage report for the proposed design and refined the project’s right-of-way plans.

This is a friendly reminder that one week from today is the Public Information Meeting for the Oxford Ave Pedestrian Bridge project. The meeting will be hosted virtually using Microsoft Teams at 6pm on Thursday April 22nd, 2021.
The meeting can be accessed through your internet browser without signing in or registering an account. Please note that MS Teams is not fully functional on all web browsers. This email is the second in a series of monthly updates regarding the Oxford Ave Pedestrian Bridge Project.
In the last month, the project team continued work on establishing existing site conditions and began refining the approach path geometry. The preliminary geotechnical report was provided to the structures team and the structures team developed a draft of the structure selection report for review by the City. The environmental team established that there will be no impacts to historic features or properties in the area. Subsurface utility mapping continues.
Going forward, the team will look to finalize the structure selection report, refine the approach path geometry, and submit preliminary designs to the City and CDOT for review.
The project team will be hosting a virtual public information meeting to provide more info on the project and give the community an opportunity to provide feedback. The meeting will be held on April 22nd, 2021 at 6pm. A hyperlink to the meeting will be sent out to the email list and posted on the project webpage.
Lastly, the City recently launched an online public engagement platform called Englewood Engaged which features the Oxford Ave Pedestrian Bridge Project. We encourage anyone who’s interested in this project to register on the platform and use it to stay connected and up to date on the project. The platform offers a central location for general project information, past project updates, related documents, and schedule information. Furthermore, the project team may solicit public input through online surveys conducted on the Englewood Engaged platform.
