August 2025 Update

Starting in early August, crews will begin work on Abutment 3 and the two retaining walls on the north side of Oxford Avenue, as well as Pier 2 in the center median. This phase of the Oxford Avenue Pedestrian Bridge project will require the following temporary changes:

• Westbound Oxford Avenue:
  The far left turn lane onto Santa Fe Drive will be closed. Drivers can continue using the other left turn lane to access Santa Fe.

• Eastbound Oxford Avenue:
  A slight lane shift will be in place, but both lanes will remain open.

• North Side Sidewalk:
  The sidewalk on the north side of Oxford will be closed. Detour signage will guide pedestrians around the work zone.

• South Side Sidewalk Reopens:
  Work on Abutment 1 is temporarily paused. The sidewalk on the south side of Oxford Avenue has reopened for pedestrian access and will remain open until work on Abutment 1 resumes in the coming weeks.
