8.1.22 Update

Hey Englewood,

This is the eighteenth in a series of monthly updates regarding the Oxford Ave Pedestrian Bridge Project.

On April 7th, the city opened contractors’ bids for the construction contract. The city received 5 bids, however, the lowest bid was higher than the Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost. City staff is working to find additional sources of funding in order to move forward with construction. The city continues negotiating a construction management services contract with a consultant engineering team.
