Construction Begins on Oxford Pedestrian Bridge in June
Construction starts Monday, June 2
Crews will break ground on the new Oxford Pedestrian Bridge over Oxford Avenue near Santa Fe on Monday, June 2. This project is designed to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists traveling to and from the Oxford RTD Light Rail Station. The bridge is expected to be installed in November 2025, with full project completion anticipated in early 2026.
The new bridge will:
- Provide a safer, more direct connection for walkers and bikers
- Support improved traffic flow at the Windermere/Navajo intersection
