5.3.21 Project Update

US-285 & S. Broadway Users,

This is the fourth update in a series of monthly updates regarding the US-285 & S. Broadway Interchange Reconstruction Project.

In the last month, the project team continued work towards environmental clearance, continued refining the interchange geometry, began developing aesthetic and landscaping concepts, began the structure type selection process, continued developing the subsurface utilities map, reviewed and refined the traffic study with CDOT staff, and began developing drainage and water quality concepts.

Going forward, the team will prepare for and conduct the second public information meeting. The team will determine the preferred interchange alternative and preferred structure type. The team will begin preparing the preliminary design documents for review and approval by the City and CDOT.
