Exciting Updates Coming to South Broadway – Construction Begins

Contractor mobilization for the South Broadway Complete Streets project will begin Monday, January 12, near Belleview Avenue and South Broadway to perform surveying. Construction will follow shortly after, with minor turn lane and inside lane closures between Belleview and Layton avenues expected over the next two weeks.

The Northbound RTD bus stop at Belleview will be closed starting Tuesday, January 13 and is expected to reopen on January 23.

These improvements will enhance how people move through and experience South Broadway and include upgraded bus stops and intersections, new bike infrastructure on South Sherman and streetscape improvements such as lighting, wayfinding and landscaping. Together, these updates support a safer, more connected and welcoming corridor for our community.
