May 2026 Project Update

Construction continues along the South Broadway corridor as part of the South Broadway Complete Streets Project.

Work Performed in April

• Demolition of street and sidewalks was performed on S. Broadway at E. Oxford and E. Quincy Avenues.
• Electrical conduits were run to light pole locations.
• New concrete curb, gutter, ADA ramps, planter boxes, bus pads and sidewalk were poured at E. Tufts and E. Quincy Avenues.

Work Anticipated in May

• Paving operations continued on S. Broadway between E. Belleview and E. Oxford Avenues.
• The RTD Bus Stop at the following locations will still be temporarily closed to allow crews to perform renovation work.
  • SB Quincy on Broadway – April 21 – May 21
  • NB Oxford on Broadway – April 28 – May 28
  • SB Mansfield on Broadway – May 4 – June 4
  • NB Kenyon on Broadway – May 11 – June 11
• Removal of the street and sidewalk will take place at the corner of E. Mansfield Avenue
• The RTD Bus Stop at Quincy and Broadway is expected to be temporarily closed to allow crews to perform renovation work.

Work Anticipated in the summer

Planter boxes are built, and greenery will be planted in late summer along S. Broadway.
