July 2026 Update

Work Performed in July

• Paving operations continued on S. Broadway.
• Concrete ADA ramps, sidewalks and curbs were installed at E. Oxford Avenue, along with metal fencing and concrete planter boxes.
• The following RTD bus stops reopened following renovation work:
  • Northbound Oxford on Broadway
  • Southbound Mansfield on Broadway
  • Northbound Kenyon on Broadway

Work Anticipated in August

Crews will continue intersection improvements at E. Mansfield Avenue and S. Broadway and E. Oxford Avenue and S. Broadway, including:

• Installation of new bus pads
• Concrete ADA ramps, sidewalks and curbs
• Concrete planter boxes
• Irrigation systems

Work Anticipated This Summer

• Planter boxes will be completed, and greenery will be planted along S. Broadway in late summer.
• Median reconstruction will continue from E. Chenango Avenue to E. Quincy Avenue, allowing crews to install the final layer of asphalt at these intersections.

Work Anticipated This Fall

• Work will begin on the south end of S. Sherman Street, starting at W. Chenango Avenue and moving north, with pavement striping and signage installation.
• In late September to early October, crews will install bike lanes in both directions along the corridor.
