April 2026 Project Update

Construction continues along the South Broadway corridor as part of the South Broadway Complete Streets Project.

March Highlights

  1. Paving operations continue on S. Broadway between E Belleview Ave. and E Quincy Avenue

  2. Underground pipes installed at new light pole locations

  3. Street and sidewalk demolition completed at E. Tufts Avenue and E. Quincy Avenue

  4. New curb, gutter, ADA ramps, planter boxes and sidewalk were poured at E. Chenango Ave. and Tufts Ave.

Coming Up in April

  1. Paving will continue on S. Broadway between E. Belleview Ave. and E. Quincy Ave.

  2. Planter boxes will be placed along the corridor and plants will be planted soon

April closures to be aware of:

  1. The RTD Bus Stop at E. Quincy Avenue is temporarily closed to allow crews to perform renovation work

  2. Sidewalk and asphalt removal will take place at the southwest corner of Chenango Avenue and the southeast corner of Tufts Avenue. Both corners are expected to reopen by April 30

These improvements will bring upgraded bus stops, safer intersections and streetscape enhancements, creating a more connected and welcoming corridor for our community. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
