October Construction Update

Stormwater improvements continue along Old Hampden Avenue between Grant and Lincoln streets. During construction, underground conditions required design adjustments and shifted the expected completion to early December.

The project will replace aging stormwater pipes originally installed in the 1950s to improve system capacity and help reduce flooding.

We appreciate the community’s support and ask those in the area to follow posted detour signs, use caution near work zones and maintain a safe distance from construction equipment. Englewood Utilities is keeping nearby residents and businesses informed of the progress.
