December 2025 Update

New traffic control changes will begin the week of December 8 as the contractor wraps up work at Old Hampden Avenue and South Clarkson Street. Once that intersection is complete, crews will move to Grant Street to install a new stormwater inlet at the Old Hampden and Grant Street intersection.

These closures are part of the Old Hampden Utility Improvement Project, which is replacing and upgrading underground utilities to strengthen the area’s infrastructure. This work is laying the foundation for planned streetscape improvements coming in 2026, creating a safer, more reliable and more welcoming corridor for residents, businesses and visitors in the area.
