June 2026 Update:

The city has received bids for the Old Hampden Complete Streets Project and is currently evaluating the proposals alongside the available construction budget.

As part of early utility coordination, Xcel Energy's contractor. Hooper. is completing electric line undergrounding within the project corridor. This work relocates overhead lines into new underground conduits so existing poles can be removed and is expected to be finished by late July. In addition, Lumen Technologies' contractor is relocating fiber infrastructure in the same area to support the project.
