Update: Good Neighbor Agreement Draft Available

A group of neighbors representing the greater community have been working hard with the leadership of Movement 5280 to create a Good Neighbor Agreement (GNA). It’s time to share what has been discussed and agreed to so far. A solid draft of the GNA has been posted to this Englewood Engaged site under Documents. Click here for the direct link to the GNA.

Now we need input from the greater community, please review the GNA and share it with neighbors. If you have questions, comments or concerns please contact Ali Katz at ali@findsolutions.org or by phone at 303-717-4151 by August 6.

If any neighbors are interested in joining the Good Neighbor Committee (GNC) please contact Ali. These can be different neighbors than we had helping create this document. If you are interested in joining the GNC, please review the details below:

  • Neighbors and Movement 5280 acknowledge that ongoing and regular communication is essential to maintaining a cooperative and successful relationship. To achieve this a Good Neighbor Committee (GNC) will be formed, comprised of the representatives listed in bullet the below. The purpose of the GNC is to provide a small working group where all relevant entities are represented and can engage in open, honest, respectful, and transparent discussions regarding the challenges and opportunities that are outlined in the Good Neighbor Agreement. The GNC serves as a place for these discussions to take place and be resolved.
  • A Good Neighbor Committee (GNC) will be formed consisting of a minimum of two Neighbor representatives, a minimum of two Movement 5280’s executive leadership team members, and one Englewood Police Officer, there is also an option to have a city representative attend as well. Ali Katz from Find Solutions will schedule, facilitate, and summarize these meetings.
  • This GNC will meet monthly (at first) to review Englewood PD security reports, Movement 5280 security and complaint reports, success stories and other items as relevant. It is anticipated that any non‐emergency questions, concerns, or information will be coordinated through this Committee. If the committee determines that quarterly meetings are adequate, they will move to do that.

If you have any questions or comments please reach out to Ali Katz at ali@findsolutions.org or by phone at 303-717-4151.
