When will you replace my lead service line?
Replacements of confirmed lead service lines will begin in 2024 and continue for several years. You will be contacted to schedule your replacement. Englewood Utilities has created an online inventory map for customers to enter their address to confirm if they have a lead service line. The inventory map is frequently updated with new information collected during on-site inspections to confirm the material type of service lines throughout the service area. Lead service line replacements are scheduled to start in 2024 and could take five years to complete. The length of the program depends on the number of confirmed lead service lines and available funding.

The city has secured $40 million in federal funding through the 2022 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Colorado State Revolving Fund. This funding comes in the form of $10 million in grants and $30 million in low-interest loans.
