Dartmouth Avenue Closure

Eastbound Dartmouth Avenue will be closed on Friday, February 21 from 8 a.m. to at least 4 p.m. between S. Platte River Drive and Santa Fe as part of the Dartmouth Bridge Widening Project. Crews will be installing a streetlight on the east corridor.

Eastbound Dartmouth Avenue between S. Platte River Drive and Santa Fe will also be closed from Monday, February 24 until Friday, February 28 for excavation and construction of the curb and gutter along the south side of Dartmouth Avenue, making room for the widened roadway.

This project is widening and rehabilitating the Dartmouth Avenue Bridge to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety. The improvements include an additional drive lane, a new sidewalk on the south side, upgraded roadway surfaces and new traffic signals at both ends of the bridge. The project is expected to be completed by spring 2025.
