Rotolo Park Construction Update: October 2026
Exciting improvements are underway at Rotolo Park! Construction is progressing on schedule, with the project expected to be completed by spring 2027.
Crews are continuing work on the new permanent restroom and sidewalks, while surveying the west side of the park and finalizing landscaping and irrigation plans. Although construction activity may vary from week to week, work continues behind the scenes as contractors coordinate materials, inspections and upcoming phases.
Earlier this year, a four-week delay allowed the city to resolve a utility conflict involving the restroom's water service. The design was revised to avoid an existing Denver Water line, allowing construction to move forward. Despite the adjustment, the project remains on schedule and within budget.
The new restroom is expected to be completed this winter and will open for public use in April, when all park restrooms open for the season.
Once complete, Rotolo Park will feature new accessible pathways, redesigned landscaping with native plants and a nature play area where children can explore and connect with the outdoors.
