July 2026: Restroom Construction Resumes at Rotolo Park

Construction on the new permanent restroom at Rotolo Park has resumed following a utility coordination delay during the building permit process.

The restroom water service line was originally designed to cross a Denver Water line, which delayed the building permit process. The city revised the design to utilize an abandoned water line and install a new meter, allowing the restroom to bypass the Denver Water line and connect to the new meter instead.

Crews are mobilizing, and construction activity will increase in the coming weeks as work progresses on the permanent restroom. Construction is expected to continue through the completion of Phase 1, which includes the permanent restroom, followed by Phase 2, which includes landscaping, irrigation and a new pathway on the west side of the park.

Thank you for your patience while these improvements are completed.
