Neighborhood News

Meet Mollie Crispell, the neighborhood group leader in Romans Park Community

How long have you lived in Englewood?
16 years

What do you love about your neighborhood?
The location is ideal for me, close to shopping and dining but far enough away to still have that true suburban experience. Englewood is conveniently and centrally located to downtown, DU, DTC and getting to the mountains with friendly neighbors who care about their property. The vibrancy of multiple generations who live here. Enjoying the interactions with people as they walk in the neighborhood. A very walkable neighborhood.
Why is neighboring important to you?
Having a sense of connected community makes a neighborhood more enjoyable, safer as we look out for one another, sharing knowledge (and plants!) A sense of belonging and an opportunity to share and gain knowledge as I age and have a purpose to improve my own and other’s lives.
