How long have you lived in Englewood?

Since 2014

Why is neighboring important to you?

When you know your neighbors you feel safer. We all watch out for one another and care about each other. Also, getting to know your neighbors is a good way to have a diverse group of friends. I mostly cherish the friendships, comradery, and sense of belonging.

What do you love about your neighborhood?

I love that my neighborhood has houses built in the early 1900's and also houses that are new builds; modern and interesting.

How has your neighborhood changed over the years?

The police department upgrade was the biggest change. It's so pretty! We also have a few scrape/new builds that have gone up. And we can't forget the young families with children. On my block we didn't have any children for years and we hardly heard kids playing in the area. It's so wonderful!
