Project Description

In August 2025, the Englewood Parks, Recreation, Library and Golf Department was awarded a $500,000 grant from the Arapahoe County Open Spaces Fund towards renovations at Centennial Park.

Improvements include a storytime walk in collaboration with the Englewood Public Library, 10 new solar lighting along the trail, wildlife-informative signage, a bird blind and two ADA-accessible fishing docks. These improvements will enhance the park's accessibility, promote outdoor education and create a more enjoyable and sustainable experience for all visitors. We are thrilled to continue to invest in our parks to make Englewood a thriving place for everyone to enjoy! Construction is anticipated to last nine weeks, weather permitting.

Estimated Cost of Improvements:
