Project Complete: Broadway HAWK Signal

Construction of the High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal on the 3400 block of South Broadway is now complete.

The new pedestrian crossing is designed to improve safety by providing a protected crossing for people walking and biking while helping maintain traffic flow along the corridor. Drivers should be aware that the signal is pedestrian-activated and stop only when the HAWK signal is activated.
