Broadway HAWK Signal Installation Update - June 2026

Installation of the Broadway HAWK pedestrian signal will continue through June, with some temporary traffic impacts expected during key construction activities.

• On Wednesday, June 17, crews will be completing pavement striping work. Drivers should expect alternating lane closures in the work area while crews complete the striping.
• On Thursday, June 18, crews will install signal mast arms. This work will require brief full traffic stops at intervals as a uniformed traffic control officer safely pauses vehicles while equipment is positioned overhead.
• The signal is expected to be fully operational beginning Monday, June 22.
